| Before anything else about this trial is reported, we want to give a big KUDOS and round of applause to the FANTASTIC Kitchen operation headed by Mrs. Perrault. This crew of folks fed us like kings and made a good contribution to the trial's operating fund for next year. We appreciate your excellence and hard work! Raining off and on, the running was fantastic in all 6 classes. Judges from USA & Canada got plenty of score on the dogs, and we want to thank them for the fine job they did of bringing back the winners. One bit of news from the meeting is that pre-trial litter registrations would be discontinued. Any hound turning 2 the year of the Futurity will now be eligible at entry. | Lance Roberson from Ohio (19), Joe Wingate from South Carolina, and we had dogs sent up from as far south as Texas. We had a good crowd of Old Timers present as well: Art Beamer, Howard and Sharon Cate, Art White, Coady McDonald -- the list goes on. AKC Rep Mickey Sergio commented several times on the quality of the organization from the measuring and painting facilities, to the vastness and quality of the parking area, number of campers, plus the children and younger folks having room to play while the trial was in progress.
